Dive into the captivating narratives of some of the North's most acclaimed female authors as they share their insights, experiences, and stories of peace, diversity, and reconciliation. 

Featuring a stellar panel discussion chaired by Sue Divin, renowned Derry-based writer and peace worker, alongside esteemed authors Jan Carson and Bernie McGill. 

 Jan Carson, acclaimed writer and community arts facilitator, brings her unique perspective to the discussion, drawing from her award-winning novels and extensive work in arts projects and events.  Sue Divin, a Derry-based writer and peace worker originally from Armagh, explores themes of diversity and reconciliation in her writing.  Bernie McGill, the winner of the prestigious Edge Hill Short Story Prize for her collection "This Train is For", is known for her evocative storytelling and exploration of complex human emotions. Hosted by Triax Neighbourhood Management Team as part of their Peace Barriers Programme, funded by the International Fund for Ireland, the event will provide a platform for these distinguished authors to share their perspectives and experiences in writing about the complexities of Northern Irish society.

Little Acorns Bookstore will be providing a carefully curated selection of books by the featured authors. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse through a diverse range of titles and have their copies signed by the authors themselves.
